The philosophy
Four elements. One practice.
This isn't a metaphor I picked for a website. It's the honest shape of my week. Fire at night. Tea in the morning. Tools all day. A mic when someone hands me one.
Mastery of mastery
Most people pick one thing because they were told that's what serious people do. I tried that. It didn't hold. What held was noticing that every craft has the same first six months: confusion, boring reps, a plateau, and then a morning where your hands know something your head doesn't.
Once you've been through that cycle on purpose a few times, you stop being afraid of it. That's the skill under the skills. That's what I teach, whether the thing in your hand is a staff, a teapot, a drill, or a microphone.
Pick a door
I believe in tending to and expressing the whole of the self, and self expansion in the way of mastery can happen in this way, where one becomes multi passionate and a jack of many trades but really a master of a few as well.
